36 weeks

This week is the start of week 36! It has gone by soooo fast! Things are finally starting to come together and I can finally say that we are ready for our little miss whenever she decides to make her appearance. We pretty much have all of our much needed items and other than a few decorative things...I can officially say Kallie's room is ready to go. This week my mom and my dear friend Alisha spoiled me with a pedicure and a massage. They were both wonderful!!! It was so nice to be able to relax a little and get pampered! Thank you ladies!

We also had our 36 week appointment today. My blood pressure/weight gain/belly measurements were all good. I am still having some swelling issues, but that is fairly normal at this point. Kallie's heart rate was in the 150's. They also did a beta strep test. This is something that all pregnant women get tested for and we will get the results at our next appointment. They checked to see if they could tell how Kallie is laying. She is head down...right now. The doctor said that her head is still really high and that it is not engaged down in the cervix yet...meaning the doctor could still push her head up. This just means that there is still concern that she could flip back around if she wanted to. They will be closely monitoring her position the next few appointments, so that if she does flip...they can try and turn her around manually. Owww! Let's just hope she stays where she is at!!! Other than that...all is well with mommy and baby and we are patiently waiting to meet our beautiful girl!
