Update

Today we had our follow-up visit from Monday to see how things were going. Not much to report. My blood pressure was good today. Out of all of the labs they drew on the blood test on Monday, only one of them was abnormal - the uric acid level was elevated. The doctor said that this definitely means that I am borderline at trying to develop preeclampsia. They checked my cervix again...no changes to report since Monday. He said ideally they would like me to deliver sooner rather than later. However, since it is our first baby he doesn't want to push my body too hard at delivering before it is ready (as long as my BP stays stable) because that could increase our risk for a c-section. The plan is for me to just continue to rest and for us to reevaluate on Tuesday.
